If LinkedIn Connect Invitations Were Applicable To The Real World

business-man-and-woman

You’re at work and, having exhausted the other ten social networks, you turn the ultra-boring one: LinkedIn. There are the side are the “suggestions” of whom you should connect with – a pimply recruiter here, the weird IT girl (yes, girl) from 3 jobs ago, and then – HEY – is that someone you dated? Slept with? Stalked from afar? Well, why not add them to your connections! But LinkedIn has a filter – how do you know this person? They’re not a colleague, you have not done business together, unless by business you mean banging bodies after dinner at the Ground Round. It would be great if LinkedIn adjusted their criteria to the real, non-working world, as suggested below.
